Our Mission

We are an inclusive charity which provides fully accessible residential and conference facilities in which groups and individuals can experience practical Christian love and be better prepared for life through training, bridge-building and refreshment.

 

Our Core Purposes

 

Refreshment (Time Out)

We aim to provide a caring Christian atmosphere set in the beauty of Highland Perthshire where people can find refreshment, renewal and inspiration, building them up for their return to daily life through:

* respite care

* holidays

* retreats

* courses and conferences

 

Training (Time Away)

We aim to povide or host training which helps people to:

 * Grow in faith

 * Grow in knowledge

 * Grow in character

 * Grow in life-skills

 * Grow in mutual understanding

 

Bridge-building (Time together)  

We aim to provide or host conferences, holidays, retreats ans events which will promote integration and build bridges between:

 * Able-bodied and disabled people

 * The church and the community

 * The disadvantaged and marginalised and mainstream society

 * People of different ages, nationalities, faiths and cultures

In delivering our mission we aspire to:

 * Inspire, support and uplift current and future generations

 * Invest in society through training and bridge-building

 * recognise the need for lifelong learning and renewal, and support this by providing a caring atmosphere in a beautiful environment.

 * be as fully accessible as possible for people with a disability

 * be a listening and inclusive service which is tailored to specific needs

 * see ourselves as part of a global network, encouraging awareness and action relating to different parts of the world and welcoming people from all over the world.

 * be a link between the church and the community by providing cost effective spac for self-help groups, counselling and for expressive arts, cultural, social and networking events.

 * treat our guests as individuals, with care and respect, motivated by our Christian faith.

 * make effective use of our resources.

 * encourage staff and volunteers as well as guests to realise their potential through effective training and development.
